NOTE: If you do not use a quick change holder in your drill chuck, which allows you to switch between drill bits like these and screwdriver tips easily, DO IT. They wobble a bit at startup, but that could be the fault of my holder, which was cheap and is quite old. It makes household repairs and wood work much easier. These bits do everything they should. in a good range of sizes for the price.
The bits can't come out until you first tilt the bits towards you and then take the one you want. I don't know about the 3/8 " mystery bit the others are talking of my package said 1/4". A good range of bits in a compact case.
The bit are very sharp and durable. And it comes in a clear package so that you can easily see whats in it. They work well on everything your likely to run into in the building trades.
These bits work great. The case , hinge and latch look like they will last a long time. I won't try to tell you what kind of metal they are made of or whether they are blue printed and balanced to NASA spec.s but 30 plus years on the job tell me these are good bits.
The case itself is well thought out. Thus preventing bits runneth over syndrom.
RIP OFFFFFFFF. I specifically bought this set because it was supposed to go up to 3/8 and it stops at 1/4. My father already had them out and using them so could not return.
Great buy. I bought these for my grandfather and he was amazed at the sizes available in one case seeing as how you can only find 4 packs where he shops. He's been using them like crazy and talks about how great they are because they don't bow.
In reality, the largest bit in the set is 1/4" The bits are advertised to range in size from 1/16" to 3/8".
